Thank you so much for all of your kind emails, text messages, DMs and other messages following my update on Friday. I cannot express how much your support and concern has meant as I start the next chapter of this journey. It has been truly unbelievable in the best possible way.
Today, I’m writing you from Chicago — I’ve spent this rainy Presidents Day preparing for the road ahead and for a few exciting moves I have up my sleeve in the coming weeks. (More about those on Wednesday.) But for now, I wanted to share some of the reads that I’ve been contemplating from across the internet.
It feels so right to be back at it, talking with you again. Thank you.
Note: As a disclaimer, I want to say that the links I share below do not necessarily reflect my own views, either politically or personally. Some are left leaning, some are right leaning, some are more in the middle. I am constantly challenging myself to consider issues from all angles, and these links reflect this challenge.
Secondary note: Additionally, I want to take this moment to encourage you to share feedback/thoughts of your own in the comments section. I’m sincerely up for open dialogue and the sharing of opinions and ideas. That said, whether in agreement or criticism, please always treat each other with mutual respect.

Hello Emily,
After reading some of your excellent material I am excited about your visit to Springfield, MO. I read some of your postings, watched a video, listened to some interviews, skimmed the articles above and I, of course, have all of the answers:):) I do have one question are you super fast writing, editing media, and posting or do you forgo sleep and work all of the time?
As I stumble through life I work to stay calm, reevaluate my perspective constantly, say less, react less, and care all people more.
